I always pray to God that he'll tell me what I am suppose to do with my life. I've been talking to God so much lately, which is a wonderful thing, but like a caterpillar ready to come out of it's cocoon, I'm ready to change. My spirit isn't very comfortable right now, and from past experience, I know that God is about to do something crazy with me. Knowing God, crazy is a good thing! I mean, I've been struggling to get a job, struggling to be a pure person and to have a consistent walk of Faith with God. Believe me, this summer, my walk with God has been one giant roller coaster. Up one moment then I'm falling the next, it's tiring! Now.....everything that I've been struggling with....I think God is finally going to put an end to it all.(Note: I'm not suicidal lol) When I say that God is putting an end to my crazy struggles, I mean he's going to put my life on track. I'm not sure what I mean....but last time my spirit was uncomfortable, I went to a conference in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and my spirit was comfortable again because that conference literally changed everything about me. I truly understood what it meant to fall in love with God. It was love that I never knew about. Even now as I type, I'm remembering that moment when I fell over my head in love with God.

I watch a lot of baby shows when mother's are giving birth. And you can tell that both parents have found a new love that they never knew about. I'm no mother, but from the parents expressions, I know they love that feeling of loving their baby. In a way, that's how I felt with God when I truly fell in loved with Him. It's more than knowing that He died on the Cross for me or that He healed people from their sickness, or any of the great Bible stories. Any one can read the Bible as if it is a book report, but when you actually sit down, and listen to Him and let Him take over your life, you'll begin to find that love that we all thought we never had, His Love. He created me so I have everything that He is, but you'll only have it if you know if it's there. And now, I'm going deeper in myself to fin out that I really do have God's blood in me. I have that overwhelming love that He has for me, which is freaking awesome!

Even my prayer life is almost exciting now. When I first started to pray, I would try to use big words sometimes or I would just pray for very little things, that was when I was a baby believer at the time. Then I started to pray for more things, like food, shelter, for my family, protection. I can honestly say that my prayers are more in dept, but I don't just come to Him for me me me, I praise Him and thank Him. I was even more excited when I began to speak in tongues. These are things I thought I'd never be able to do! Now, my prayer life is amazing. Rather than being afraid to ask him for things and to be open to him, I pray as if He is right next to me, like He's my best friend and I'm talking to Him being totally honest, open, and transparent with Him. And I love that I can talk to the Maker of this World as if He's a person sitting right next to me. Ever since I became more open to him, I'm becoming more and more trusting to Him. Which is what I've been trying to do this whole summer. Now that I'm more comfortable with Him, and I believe He's ready to do something drastic with me.

I can't believe since middle school to after high school what God has done with me. If you were me, you'd understand what I'm coming from. This is from a girl who didn't even think she could understand the Bible at all and is now teaching Sunday school to middle school kids. This from a girl who had the worst self-esteem as child and pre-teen to having the greatest confidence because of God and her confidence is increasingly growing. This from a girl who lost her home of thirteen years to Hurricane Katrina and having had a hard time getting use to San Antonio and is now being blessed everyday because of Lord of the Harvest Church(I love that church as if it is my home!). I'm excited for the plans that God has planned for me because I know that He is about do something with me. What it might be, I have no idea, but I know it's something that will push me deeper into Him and I'll soon know more to Him than ever.



Salvation Prayer

Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus, I believe what you did on the cross for me and that you made me free from my own sins. I repent from all the sins I've done and welcome and accept your forgiveness and love. I asked that you baptize me in your Holy anointing and help me live the life you've predestined me to live, in Jesus name, Amen.
